After graduating from Cornell University and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, Dr. Wolfeld was accepted into the highly competitive integrated plastic surgery training program at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, where there was an acceptance percentage of less than 1%. Following completion of this plastic surgery residency program, Dr. Wolfeld pursued an additional fellowship in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, training under the leaders of cosmetic plastic surgery. Wolfeld and Bernstein attended the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons) and Restoration Robotics Users (manufacturer of the ARTAS robot) meetings annually to learn new techniques and share ideas and innovations with the worldwide hair restoration community. At Bernstein Medical, Dr. Wolfeld performed hundreds of hair transplant procedures, FUT and robotic FUE, as well as thousands of platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatments.
